    Hey Kate,

So my name is Richard and I wanted to drop you and yours to thank you. I’ll perhaps run out of space on here to say why I want to thank you, but here’s why…

my first motorcycle (this term perhaps dates me as closer to username dad, then) was a CB100N. Not only did it have a 10,000 red line but it also got me through my part 1 and part 2 test with questions about rainbows and what hazards bus stops present and what I should wear in the rain (I was wearing jeans and a combat jacket). I rode it in the snow round North Yorkshire, down to Devon and all points in-between and the love of bikes has never ever left me. My second bike was a BMW K75, which was new, financed, had a red seat and I could hardly afford to put petrol in it but I loved it and I pushed it to so many petrol stations, giving me a few bike manouvring skills at least. It was also my first unexpected hump back bridge airborne experience and nothing compares to that! Panniers for it were my 21st birthday present, which might give you an idea of what bikes mean to me. Then a BSA Bantam D14 4B (which in fairness was poop but it taught me patience and gentleness at a whole new level. A Hayabusa, an R1, a Speed Triple, a V-Strom, (the litre version, oh I loved her), Ninja 600 and-on-and-on and… to now my bike that makes no sense whatsoever at all, the Rocket 3; which you’ve ridden in R form of course and to be fair should be snuggled up next to a GS and that’s the plan. No sense and complete sense alongside each other. Which is biking. You’ve motivated me to write to you because of your coverage of heroes going fast on bikes, whether they’re blessed with one arm or two xx You’re (content moderated by author) awesome Kate.

    Hi Kate
I’m really enjoying your videos at the moment
Just wondering if your going to have some merchandise for sale at any point? Like mugs, key rings, stickers.

    Hello,

Just watched your episode about the suspension setting on the KTM SA S.
Finally some practical explanation about this.

Keep up the good work and if you find yourself in Belgium I have the KTM SA S and/or a K Z900 rs and both are bit fine tuned functionally and esthetically to my liking.
We can do a nice little tour in the neighbourhood (lunch on me to talk about bikes 😃)

    Regards

    Frank

    Hi Kate,
Just stumbled across your YouTube video with the BMW1250GS and started watching then mentally went – that looks familiar. I’m from Bolton many years ago but now living in Switzerland with a BMW R1200RS and an Aprilia RS660 (track yeah, great fun!).
Keep safe and hope you are successful.
    Andy.

I saw your review of the new Enfield 650 and I was curious to see how different it could be from my current Bullet 500.
I was so surprised to see roads local to me on the video! That’s unusual, as most of the bikevreviewers seem to be in the south of England.
Thanks for showing me a destination I wasn’t aware of. I’m going there for coffee and cake next time I need a destination.
Keep up the good work, I’m off to check out your other videos now.
Oh, nearly forgot, I’m 70, so outside your usual demographic! If you have a few minutes to spare, my meagre efforts can be found on YouTube, search for bigalfromwigan.

Hello Kate, just watched your r1200gs review. You said you struggled a bit lifting it up off side stand. Try turning bars completely to right before picking it up, be careful it will be very easy. Just a little tip from an old fart who has just traded his harley ultra in for a 1250gsa.👍
